Il 2026 sarà l’anno del ritorno sul palco dei Litfiba, quelli degli anni ’80 con la formazione originale, in un tour di 20 imperdibili date in giro per l’Italia per celebrare i quarant’anni di “17 Re”, il disco che ha segnato una svolta epocale nel rock italiano e consacrato la band fiorentina a livello nazionale ed europeo.
L’album doppio “17 Re”, (il primo nella new wave italiana), secondo episodio di una trilogia che oggi suona attualissima dedicata alle vittime del potere, con la formula audace e sperimentale ancora oggi esprime una forza rara, capace di attraversare le generazioni. Quarant’anni di “17 RE” – Tour 2026, questo il nome del progetto che riunirà sullo stesso palco Piero Pelù, Ghigo Renzulli, Antonio Aiazzi e Gianni Maroccolo per riportare dal vivo le emozioni, la potenza, l’energia e la poesia visionaria e anticipatrice di uno dei capitoli più amati della storia del rock europeo. Pubblicato nel 1986 come album doppio (solo in Francia fu pubblicato come album singolo) e considerato ancora oggi da molti il capolavoro stilistico dei Litfiba degli anni ‘80, “17 Re” fa parte della cosiddetta Trilogia delle vittime del potere insieme a “Desaparecido” e “Litfiba 3”. “17 Re” è composto da 16 brani e prende il titolo da quella che doveva essere la title-track, ovvero “17 Re”, ma la traccia non fu pubblicata poiché ritenuta non convincente e musicalmente non all’altezza delle altre presenti nell’album (il testo è in parte stampato all’interno della copertina dell’album). Il tour Quarant’anni di “17 Re” toccherà alcune delle più importanti città e festival italiani in un calendario che attraverserà esclusivamente l’estate 2026 da giugno ad agosto. Questo live sarà l’occasione irripetibile per riascoltare dal vivo le canzoni di quell’album leggendario suonate come non è mai successo in precedenza nella storia, oltre ai grandi classici che hanno segnato la carriera della band. Un repertorio entrato nella leggenda, con sonorità, atmosfere, testi, stile vocale e performance che hanno segnato la storia del rock italiano.
I Litfiba saranno protagonisti nei festival, nelle arene e in alcuni dei luoghi più suggestivi d’Italia, tra cui il prossimo 11 agosto 2026 alle ore 21.00, nella città Patrimonio dell’Umanità Unesco di Palmanova (UD). Tour 2026
2026 will mark the return to the stage of the original 1980s lineup of Litfiba, with a 20-date tour across Italy to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of 17 Re—the album that represented a historic turning point for Italian rock and consecrated the Florentine band on both a national and European level.
The double album 17 Re—the first true new wave record in Italy—is the second chapter of a trilogy that still feels strikingly contemporary today, dedicated to the victims of power. With its bold and experimental vision, it continues to express a rare energy, capable of crossing generations.

to bring back live the emotions, power, energy, and visionary poetry of one of the most beloved chapters in European rock history.
Released in 1986 as a double album (only in France was it issued as a single LP), and still considered by many the stylistic masterpiece of Litfiba’s 1980s era, 17 Re is part of the so-called “Trilogy of the Victims of Power”, together with Desaparecido and Litfiba 3.
17 Re consists of 16 tracks and takes its title from what was meant to be the title track, “17 Re”, which was ultimately not released because it was deemed musically weaker than the other songs (part of its lyrics can still be found printed inside the album cover).
The Forty Years of 17 Re tour will stop in some of the most important Italian cities and festivals, running exclusively throughout summer 2026, from June to August.
This live project will offer a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear the songs of this legendary album performed in a way never experienced before, alongside the great classics that defined the band’s career.
A repertoire that has entered the legend—through its sounds, atmospheres, lyrics, vocal style and performances that have shaped the history of Italian rock.
Litfiba will take center stage in festivals, arenas, and some of the most evocative locations in Italy, including August 11, 2026 at 9:00 PM in the UNESCO World Heritage city of Palmanova (UD).
